Hello Blog World, I took an unexpected hiatus due to a bad case of writer’s block. I think it also has something to do with the season changing from Summer to Fall . I feel the effects instantly because I am convinced I suffer from seasonal affective disorder. Personally I think that can be instantly fixed with a long vacation on a tropical island but my finances and job beg to differ. Hopefully the adjustment period is quick this year.
The best way I know how to move this adjustment period along is to exercise. I am so over all my workout DVDs. So I remembered a workout I had seen on the Biggest Loser last season using a deck of playing cards. Basically you assign an exercise to each suit, shuffle the cards, and do the exercise for the number of times on the card. Go through the whole deck and there is your workout.
Here are the exercises I chose.
I placed the cards on my table and my workout mat a little bit apart, so I would run from my mat to the table in between each exercise. I thought this would be an interesting workout and if I burned 100 calories I would be happy. It was a lot more challenging than I thought and a thorough workout.
Can’t wait to try this again with different exercise!
Which combination of exercises would you use? Share in the comments.
